How to Properly Remove AMP Pages

After installing the AMP plugins for removing the AMP pages, you should make a correct check to see if it was set properly. Otherwise set the data deletion setting and remove the plugin. Since similar settings are not presented in all plugins. Below is how to properly delete each plugin. So, follow the steps carefully.

Delete AMP for WP to Remove AMP Pages

After login into WP, click AMP under the dashboard to open its settings. Click on “Settings” to expand its settings menu. Scroll down a little bit and click “Advanced Settings”. Again, scroll down till the page end and make sure to enable the “Delete Data on Uninstall?” If it is not enabled, just enable and save it.

Now deactivate the plugin via Plugins, then delete it. That’s it. All the AMP data will be removed. And Google will remove all AMP pages in a few weeks.
