To apply borders to the cells in MS Excel, you can select the Line Color, Line Style or Both you want for a different border format, or otherwise, leave it as it is if you wish to apply the default line styles and colours.

Apply Borders to the Cells in MS-Excel:

On the Home tab, in the Font group, Chick the expand button of the Borders Under “Draw Borders”, Select one of the Line Colors, and Line Styles to apply the borders to the cells in Excel.

Bottom Border:

To apply only the Bottom Border to the currently selected cells, select the “Bottom Border”. To do so, follow the steps below. Select the cell/range of cells you want On the home tab, in the font group, click on the drop-down arrow of the border, and then select the Bottom border.

Thick Outside Borders:

To apply Outside Borders which is Thick to the selected cell or range of cells, select the “Thick Outside Border” option.

Double Bottom Border:

To apply Double Bottom Border to the currently selected cell or range of cells, select the “Bottom Double Border” option.

Thick Bottom Border:

To apply Thick Bottom Border to the currently selected cell or range of cells, select the “Thick Bottom Border”.

Top and Bottom Border:

To apply the Top and Bottom Border to the currently selected cell or range of cells, select the “Top and Bottom Border”.
